Hi Everyone!

We are so happy to see how many people are excited and keen to be involved in netball at Swinburne! Keep sharing the word around that the netball club is back because we would love to see as many students as possible playing netball for Swinburne!

There are just a few things we wanted to mention to you all. Apologies if it sounds as though we are repeating ourselves, some new members may not have received our past emails/Facebook posts.

If you haven't already, please join our Facebook group. The group and email will be the main sources of communication - https://www.facebook.com/groups/877828646005956/?ref=share PLEASE NOTE: even if you are in the Facebook group, please complete the registration form below so we have your contact details.

All members are invited to complete the registration form. We are accepting requests for if you would like to play with friends, however, with 70 people interested and that number expected to grow after O-Week and Welcome Back Week, we cannot guarantee that you will be placed in a team with the requested people. The earlier you let us know that you would like to be in a team with particular people, the easier it is for us to accommodate the request, but no guarantees.

Teams will be entered into the CitySide Sports competition which is based in Richmond at Melbourne Girls Grammar and Ryans Reserve (netball courts next to Burnley Station). Venues may vary weekly but will be confirmed in advance prior to the games, Games will start on the week of the Monday 16th March with the grand finals being played in the week of the 20th July.

The Netball Club will be having a stall during O-Week and Welcome Back Week so feel free to come and introduce yourself. We'd love to meet as many of you as possible before the season starts! We will be there on Wednesday of O-Week and the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Welcome-Back-Week.

More info will be sent out in the coming weeks about payment (which will be completed through this portal) as well as team lists, uniform and other key information.
