❄️ WINTER SURF CAMP 2019! ❄️

Our winter camp for this year will again be down on the peninsula and will be for 2 nights from the 16th to the 18th of August!

A heads up for this camp, we will may be surfing some more difficult spots than other camps, and it will be COLD. Tickets will also be more limited for this camp. Transport will also not be provided, but you can use our group page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/swinBC/ to try and organise a lift, or suss out any public transport options that may be available.

As usual drinks, dinner and breaky will be provided! (but you'll need money for anything extra), so grab your warmest wetty and get your booties out, and a hood and gloves if you need that, and keep an eye out for when tickets are available!

DATE: 16/08/19 NIGHTS: 2
ADDRESS: 74-78 Paradise Drive, Saint Andrews Beach
CHECK IN: 3:00pm onwards

MORNINGTON PENINSULA
Located just a short drive to the South-East of Melbourne, the many beaches along the Mornington Peninsula offer some of the best and closest waves to Melbourne. St Andrews Beach is located on the Bass Strait side of the southern Mornington Peninsula.

LEARNERS
We want to advise you that we will not be teaching anyone how to surf on this camp as it is not a learn-to-surf camp.

SURFBOARDS & WETSUITS
You will require a surfboard for this event, and it it highly recommended that you have a thick (4mm) wetsuit, so if you do not own one you will either need to hire one or organise to borrow and/or share someone else’s. There are a few surf hire shops around the peninsula where boards and other equipment can be hired for reasonable prices. Alternatively, the SBC Facebook group is a good place to see if any members would have a board you can use.

AIRBNB
We will not be camping on this trip so there is no need for camping equipment. You will need to bring your own towels and sheets/sleeping bag, and of course since it is someone else’s home please take care not to damage anything at the property, you personally will be liable.

TRANSPORT
Transport down to the Peninsula is NOT included for this trip. If you do not have a car or a lift down with someone you will need to organise one through our Facebook group (SBC Discussion Group), or check out your Public Transport options.

FOOD
We will be cooking up food for dinner and breakfast, but for lunch and any other meals/snacks you will need to have money on you to buy this yourself. Also, if you have any dietary needs you need to let us know prior and we will see if we can accommodate them, if not we will be in contact with you letting you know you will need to bring your own food / money for food.
