Swinburne is home to some pretty epic events. You could volunteer at Orientation, Open Day and various events across the university.
Orientation (Feb/March & July/August)
You get to put the biggest and best event of the year on your CV! Not only that, but you get to volunteer alongside other student volunteers in welcoming new students to campus. Oh, and it’s LOADS of fun!There are a bunch of different roles you could put your name down for, such as greeting new students, campus tours, international welcome events, handing out goodie bags, taking registrations and setting up for events.

Open Day
Give potential students the very best first impression of Swinburne! Help welcome prospective students to campus and show them what Swinburne has to offer, and hope they choose to undertake TAFE or university study with us. There are a number of different roles available for volunteers on the day.Recruitment begins soon! More details to come shortly.
Community Events
There are a number of other awesome events that occur throughout the year on-campus that may require your help to run smoothly and successfully. There’s Design Week, Public Lectures, industry events, Graduations and loads more.You’ll assist in various roles such as greeting guests, serving food and drink and help setting up.
There are also a number of annual community events you can help support from a range of not-for-profit organisations.
These opportunities will be on the Volunteer Portal for registered volunteers once available.
