UniSport Nationals is the premier university sporting event in Australia. Nationals Div 1 and Nationals Div 2 will both be held on the Gold Coast in 2019.

Swinburne teams will compete in a range of sports to compete against Universities from all over Australia. For Div1, Swinburne will be sending a variety of teams in the hope of bringing back some medals, including:

Location: Gold Coast, Queensland

Cost

Students will need to make a number of payments in order to secure their spot on the Gold Coast with Swinburne:
- UniSport Australia Registration due 23rd of August: $200 (incl service fee). Cheer & Dance $165.
- Swinburne Team Package: $300 per participant*
- Playing Uniform deposit: $40 and to be kept by the students post events.
- Extras: Flights to and from the Gold Coast will need to be purchased by the participant, along with food and transport for the week.

Swinburne Team Package includes:

  • 4 night's accommodation at the Savannah Hotel and Resort
  • Swinburne team breakfast and events on the Gold Coast
  • Swinburne team shirt and merchandise
  • Swinburne National launch event
  • Swinburne Staff support

Team Package - First Installment of $150 due Friday 06 Sept 2019.

UniSport Registration includes:

• Entry into your chosen sport
• Qualified competition management staff, officials and referees

Student Life funding support

Student Life understands that the trip can be expensive for students, and we want to provide every opportunity to make the trip accessible to everyone!

To help you out, we're introducing a few exciting new ways to support your Nationals Teams in 2019:

  • If your team reaches the max squad size the entire squad will receive a discount and subsidy from UniSport Australia.
  • Swinburne Student Life Clubs can contribute up to $500 for the nationals team to use during the week*

Expenses that can be subsidised using this funding include:

  • Food Vouchers
  • Team Car Hire
  • Uber / Taxi / Transport
  • Sundry Refund for registration fees
  • Sundry Refund for travel expenses
  • Uniform Costs

The $300 Team Package includes:

  • Accommodation for 4 nights
  • Team Dinner on the gold coast
  • Merch Pack (social uniform, water bottle, towel, bag)
  • Swinburne Student Life Staff Support
  • Welcome Event
